How to play

Print the Scripture pages, puzzles, and message log. Teams read Luke 2:1-20, solve each four-digit code, and collect a word from the leader. Guided mode adds progressive hints; Challenge mode uses the same puzzles without hints. No locks, special equipment, or internet are needed during play. You supply paper, a printer, pencils, and a leader; envelopes are optional.

Plan your gathering

Designed for 1-4 players per team plus a leader. Print extra team packets for a larger group. Intended ages: 7-10 with adult reading help in Guided mode; 11+ in Challenge mode. Allow roughly 30-45 minutes plus discussion. Ages and duration are planning estimates, not results of a live group playtest.

Download the ZIP file, extract it, and open the PDFs in a PDF reader. Choose US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) or A4. Print single-sided using Fit to printable area; test one page first. These are flat printable PDFs, not editable templates or fillable forms.
